Discipleship is the intentional learning of what Jesus taught and modeled, and applying this in lives of grace and compassion. There are discipleship opportunities for all ages!
Reflecting in Weekly Worship: Sundays at 10:00AM
Children's Sunday School: Children (PreK - 4th grade) are dismissed after the Children's Sermon and are returned to the Sanctuary after the Sermon.
Adult Expository Bible Study: All are welcome to this study at 11am on Tuesdays in the Chapel, which is led by Elder Ejvind Hansen. The focus for this season is the stories of God's covenantal love from the Book of Genesis.
Evening Bible Study: All are welcome to this study at 6:30pm on Thursdays in the Chapel (beginning 3/5/2020), which is facilitated by Pastor Tim and others. Kids are welcome, as Lynne Klepacki will be leading correspoding activities and studies for kids. The focus for this season is the teachings of Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount.
Bi-Weekly Adult Christian Book Discussion Group: All are welcome to this group at 1:30 every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in the Chapel, which is led by Elder Gail Moore (check calendar for details).
Adult Book Club: Last Wednesday of Month, 7PM in the Chapel
Discipleship@Home: Any and all are invited to participate at home in personal discipleship-nurturing practices of Bible reading and reflecting. Weekly assigned readings and reflections are connected to Thursday Bible Study and Sunday Worship services, and will be shared weekly in the email Blast Newsletter, the LINK bulletin insert, and the VFPC Facebook page.
